What areas does Juvederm Volbella commonly treat?

Juvederm Volbella is a recent addition to the Juvederm line of dermal fillers, and has quickly gained a reputation for producing incredibly smooth results. But what areas does Juvederm Volbella commonly treat.

What is Juvederm Volbella?
Juvederm Volbella XC is a clear, smooth dermal filler that consists of hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is a natural-occurring substance in the body that is responsible for the plumpness of the skin, but declines as you age.

Juvederm Volbella is manufactured using the unique Vycross technology by Allergan. Vycross is a method of production that blends high and low molecular weight HA. This creates a smooth solution that integrates completely into the skin and produces subtle, long-lasting results.

What areas does Juvederm Volbella commonly treat?
Juvederm Volbella is specially formulated to temporarily enhance and alter the shape and volume of the lips. It also smooths the appearance of the perioral lines or smoker’s lines, which are the vertical lines around the mouth.

After treatment with Juvederm Volbella the lip contour and lip outline will be better defined. It also refines the curve in the middle of the upper lip. The results typically last for 1 year.

Volbella is ideal for adding volume to the lips because it is a smooth, soft gel that absorbs less water after injection, so it’s able to provide subtle lip enhancement.

How it works
Juvederm Volbella is injected into and around the lips using a very fine needle. The product also has a small amount of lidocaine (local anesthetic), which helps to reduce discomfort. HA works by attracting water from the surrounding tissues (read more).
